In 1980 Programmed Insurance Brokers Inc., a multi-line insurance and financial services agency, was formed. The company's main objective at that time was to provide Group Insurance, Life Insurance and Retirement programs to one major account - Home Hardware Stores Limited. From those humble beginnings, with only a handful of employees, PIB and its affiliates have grown steadily, and today have over 275 staff working across Canada with individual and corporate clients in a variety of business sectors. We are a nationally licensed agency that has access to a wide insurance carrier market and a diverse group of investment firms – we are not limited to only one carrier.
